I know I'm being unreasonable asking here rather than the gardening forum but I have £4000 riding on the answer.

Thanks very much

DH suggests a plant finder app. He's a gardener but can't tell from your photos.

£4,000! if I tell you do I get a cut?
No idea myself but DH will know.

It looks like a type of hawkweed. But can’t be more specific.

I have a dog who is coughing and has been for the last 2 months
She's had loads of tests and the next step is a CT scan costing £4000

Then we got a puppy who rolls in this and comes in scratching so I'm now wondering whether it's also causing the cough 🤔

The gardening forum though will be able to ID ?

We have that in our garden. It's yellow hawkweed. Looks a bit like a weird dandelion.

PlantNet app is a good starting point.

I prefer wild flower to weed.

BestIsWest · 16/06/2023 09:37

Post on the gardening forum. There are some very knowledgeable posters. Don’t rely on an app.

The definition of a weed is an unwanted plant

And it's definitely unwanted if it's going to cost me that much 😁
