Plants in the bathroom

On the app so can't enable voting but AIBU that bathrooms are immensely improved by having green plants in them?!
My boyfriend thinks they look cheap and ghastly, I feel they offer a preferentially oxygenated environment as well as looking aesthetically pleasing Flowers

May be influenced by having a few in my house, he has a modern property (Mild Castle Greyskull for all my tattlers) which would suit a few trailing tendrils

There's no such thing as too many house plants!

We have a jungle in our bathroom. We have a large shelf between the toilet abd the window (basically wheren the pipes are boxed in).

I have covered it in plants, including an enormous out of contol aloe.

My bathroom has no natural daylight so l wouldn't know what to have in there

@TheEverdelightfulsamantha & @Soproudoflionesses
I don't have bathroom windows either.
I have spider plants, money tree plant, and peace lily on an oblong tray, and the same group on a tray on kitchen windowsill. Every couple of weeks I pick them up and swap over for natural light.
They can actually go without for much longer especially spider and money tree plants, but this seems to be a good point where there's no visible stress to the plant. I'm sure there will be others that cope well with this too.

I love the idea of plants in the bathroom. One of our bathrooms has peace lilly and aloe Vera that are thriving!
However the other bathroom has no window so only artificial light, so has to have artificial ones that just don't look as nice

Yes plants look good in bathrooms.

@halfpasteleven Thank you 😁💕

Got an absolute bargain yesterday. I will see if I can post a pic - 29p for a mother in law's tongue.

Very poorly, dry and sad looking but she's in the kitchen currently having been soaking for 24 hours. Going to trim the dead leaves, remove all the old compost and repot her.

I have never owned one of these and I don't have a clue what I'm doing, but it seems to be working 😁😁

But if anyone has any good ideas to help it would be gratefully received.

You're welcome @Dobbyatemysocks Smile

Just realised I have that plant in my sitting room and it seems hardy enough!
It seems to love water and I've resurrected it many a time as it sits on a sunny window sill!
