New relationship/ dating getting to know him

Recently started chatting with a lovely guy (3week ago) we been on date and text daily but we can only manage to see each other once a week for few hours, as I have kids full time and he has kids 4 days. I’m started to think we may not have enough time to connect and know each other. I really like him and he seem interested too. What your thoughts?

But if you have your children FT, always, surely this isn't a surprise, as it doesn't come down to the other person being available?

I think in the early days of dating once a week for a few hours is fine, it sounds like you're trying to get ahead of yourself but getting to know someone slowly isn't a bad thing.

3 weeks is a getting to know you period so you both have to fit around the time you have.. So could take longer for you to get to know each other but if you are meant to be you will work out

@Izzabird Thank you for your input I totally agree. Our work place are close so he did mention lightly previously we could be meeting for lunch but I haven’t said anything to suggest it as don’t want to look too eager/ desperate.
