Hot classroom what would you do?

As a parent would you be happy for your child to be working in a classroom with a morning air temperature already measuring 28/29C due to no AC and poor ventilation?

As a teacher what would you do to solve the issue if the SLT team were slow to respond or showed little empathy?

Tips on what can be done to make this more bearable would be appreciated please 🙏🏻

There isn’t a lot that can be done really. Ds school has let children come in in school PE kit.

Things like covering the windows can help keep the temperature down a bit. Plenty of hydration for staff and pupils

Take a fan and some ice to put in front of it? Cover the windows? Make sure everyone’s got drinks.
