Early puberty?

My DD7 is showing signs of puberty, according to the nhs website it's normal between 8-13 for girls and DD turns 8 in a few weeks but it still feels very early.

Would it be an overreaction to go to the gp given she is pretty much in the 'normal' range for start of puberty?

@Jasjcr so glad this thread has helped you. Good luck with your gp and hope you get a referral.
My DD turns 8 imminently so has passed the point for referrals, I'm hoping it slows for a couple of years at least. I was about 12 when I got my first period (and in hindsight the fallout of puberty makes sense as with undiagnosed ADHD!), not sure I can cope with DD being any earlier than that- she's dramatic enough as it is.

Both DD and I started periods at 9
DS started getting body changes age 5-6 so I did seek medical advice - they did loads of tests including bone measurements and concluded he was just within normal limits and would be a very tall adult (which he now is)
I do understand your worries though so would take her to GP
