Ideas where I could look for lost

I've been up cleaning the house tonight and just when I'm ready for finally going to bed I realise I've lost my keys when I seen they weren't in the front door.

When I say I've looked everywhere, I have even emptied the bin. How is this possible? A bunch of keys?
I've looked for a good hour now bearing in mind my house is 2 bedroom cottage so not big?

Has anyone any wacky ideas where to find a lost item in the house apart from obvious ideas?? I'm going mad and I want to lock my front door/drive to work in the morning

Did u put away clothes, could they have got caught up in them? Bathroom, beside kettle, check they're not in outside of door if you were in and out a bit.... Window sills?; Good luck!

Fridge! Or still in the keyhole on outside of door?

The last place you'll look

I stand outside and retrace my steps,, from unlocking the door, to opening it, did I have shopping? did I take my coat off and hang it up?did I take my shoes off? could I have dropped them in the shoes I've just taken off and so on, they usually turn up, I hope you find yours, good luck!

When I get home I either put them on the side/straight in the door

I have checked my daughters bedroom to see if she has hid them (she's 4) but nothing

I'm not bothered about locking the door its about nursery/work in the morning. I am baffled

Do you have a radiator in your hall? Took me three days once to find my keys had dropped down between the radiator and wall and got stuck.

They are nowhere to be seen I will have to ask DD when she wakes up!

I found mine inside an umbrella once. I'd check settee, coats, bags, car, fridge, cupboards, drawers, toy boxes, all pockets.

Did you leave them in the lock (as in, they are hanging on the outside of your front door)?
