I started a new job 2 months ago after working for my previous department for 10 years.
I am completing everything I should be doing and am on target for deadlines etc. I have regular catch ups with a supervisor where we talk about the work I'm doing. I think I fit in pretty well with the team.
What I am wondering about is that I haven't ever had formal feedback on my work from my superiors. I am due to have my first probation meeting next month. I'm assuming that they are reasonably happy with me otherwise they would have flagged something sooner if it was an issue.
I'm not particularly needy for validation but I'm just not used to this way of working! Is this normal? I don't want to ask if everything is ok as it seems a bit needy, but Im just used to more regular check ins and if they think im doing a good job etc.
