I made an emergency GP appointment the other day as I’ve been getting horrendous migraines for the past couple of months that are getting steadily worse, but also I’ve been coming over dizzy a lot where my eyes will go black out of nowhere and I almost feel drunk, I have to sit down with my head between my knees for it to go away but then I will feel dizzy for a long time afterwards.
I’ve got a 3 month old daughter and I’m terrified I might pass out while carrying her/I’m alone with her. So I went to the GP and he basically said I seemed fine, as my blood pressure was normal, and said it sounded like vertigo. I told him I was worried about passing out while alone with my daughter and he said I could have some anti sickness tablets.
I just feel a bit like it was very quickly dismissed and that maybe I should have had blood tests just to check everything was OK?
Has anyone had anything similar and what was the outcome?
