To want a separate CF topic

I love reading cf threads. So many I can remember, like the visitor who turned up with a suitcase round the house of the creative couple who worked from home, or the recent one about the broken ankle.

Partly I love it for entertainment and love a good update/resolution. But also, Partly I love it because these threads have taught me so much about boundaries for myself. I give a cheer when I see that the OP has stood their ground and got a good result.

I would live to be able to just go to a topic and read all of these types of threads.

YAibu- too many topics already. And there is some other way filtering show them.
Yanbu- I love a good cf thread too!

What’s CF ? Sorry 😳

007DoubleOSeven · 04/06/2023 13:06

No

flyingtherag · 04/06/2023 13:11

It means Cheeky Fucker

i agree with you BUT ultimately aren’t all relationship threads really about someone feeling aggrieved?

either in-laws, friends or family taking the piss?

id read them all though!

Psiaspops · 04/06/2023 13:52

Honestly I could have my only cf thread with my neighbour alone, so yes I would love a cf thread

Psiaspops · 04/06/2023 13:52

Topic I mean

Flowa · 04/06/2023 14:23

@flyingtherag Yeah, I see what you mean. 🤔

I missed the broken ankle one. Does anyone have a link?

Pringleface · 04/06/2023 14:51

There wouldn’t be any point because everyone would still post them to AIBU and MNHQ would refuse to move them to the CF topic, the same as with every other thread where there’s a relevant topic for it.

I honestly don’t know why they bother having topics at all.

Readyplayerthr33 · 04/06/2023 14:56

Yeah, it wouldn’t get used. Everyone just posts everything in AIBU. They’ll wouldn’t use a CF topic.

TyneTeas · 04/06/2023 15:01

Not all OPs realise they are dealing with. CF when they post until they get it pointed out, so the thread wouldn't be under the topic

Flowa · 05/06/2023 10:47

All good points. I concede. In my head I was thinking of cf guests/restaurant stories. Didn't even think of relationships etc. So I decided to search and read a most entertaining, edge of my seat one from last year about 2 house guests and steak! Love it when everyone is rooting for the op.And what a result!

@GennyGennyGenny No idea how to post a link, but if you search 'friend wants to stay on our couch for 3/4 weeks' it should come up.

Thanks, Flowa.
