JAMES NORTON - the most talented and NICEST young actor?

I just met James Norton outside the Harold Pinter Theatre where he was signing autographs and talking to fans after his show. I could not believe how incredibly nice and talkative he was with everyone. He was coming up to everyone and spending ages having a chat with every fan. Really being incredibly nice and chatty despite it being nearly midnight and him having had to go through 4 hours of the gruelling performance in A Little Life. I have never seen any "big" celebrity be this nice to fans.

Aside from that, how unbelievably talented is this man?! From Gantchester, McMafia, Happy Valley and his stage performance- al completely different characters but absolutely brilliantly played. And of course he's beautiful 😍 (and isn't he a Cambridge graduate?).

I'm in love 😻 (in a crazy stalkerish way of course 😂)

Wish a journalist would pick up something nice from Mumsnet for once.

I have honestly never seen a big-name star (and even a small z-list celebrity) be this thoughtful and nice to ordinary strangers. He took his time to chat to every single person and was just lovely.

I thought I read somewhere that he cheated on Jesse Buckley. Maybe I have it wrong. I'm sure he's lovely but I don't believe anyone is perfect.

How funny, I was at the same show. I cannot understand how he gives that performance every day without having some kind of breakdown, let alone chats to fans after! We just ran for the train totally traumatised.

I love this.. so glad you posted. He came across so well on graham Norton... I'm so glad he is just as lovely in real life. (I tried to get tickets for this as soon as I knew it was on.. but it was already sold out. Would love to have seen it... jealous!)

Hah! Small world! I am also absolutely blown away by how he can give that performance every night. And he doesn't have another actor take his place a few of the days like other shows have, so it's actually him every single night.

He came out about 40mins after the show ended and he was so apologetic that he was late and made people wait.

Yes, I read he has type 1 diabetes. Apparently they hide sweets for him on stage just on case because the play is so long.

I loved him in MacMafia but his voice and hair as Tommy Lee Royce disturbed me as did the lilac cardigan on Graham Norton... I'm still trying to get over those... but he does seem lovely and I agree would be an incredible Bond.

Wasn't he?!? Absolutely superb. That show was brilliant and very true to reality (I'm Russian and it was incredibly well-made). Great screenplay and of course unbelievable acting from the one and only James Norton 😍(as well as the whole cast)

I will have to try watching it only for James Norton's sake. I usually hate War and Peace adaptations except the one with Audrey Hepburn as Natasha, Mel Ferrer as Prince Andrei and Henry Fonda as Pierre. That was the only very good adaptation. In James Norton's adaptation the casting of Pierre is just awful. But for James's sake I will try to persevere and watch it💪🏻
