Is this heat exhaustion?

I know it's not that hot! But it was 18 degrees yesterday, I got quite badly sunburned without realising, I noticed yesterday evening after feeling quite unwell (dizziness, heart palpatations, headache, nausea and just generally felt a bit off), I still feel like my heart is racing today and I feel quite shaky and I have diarrhea (sorry TMI). I do suffer more in the heat than most in general - but I don't usually feel the effects until temperatures reach the 20s!

Sound like you might have over done things drink some tepid not cold water eat something salty crisps or a cracker and some immodium.

Although it might be a coincidence and you have a stomach bug.

Unfortunately that's what happens when you get burnt - it can make you feel very unwell.

Thank you, I thought I'd done enough (didn't go out until after 2pm and wore a long sleeved top but I should know better - I do burn unbelievably easily.

Have a tepid shower. Take some rehydration salts. Put some gentle cream on the burnt areas (like an aloe vera gel).
