Tissue and cigarette end found in garden

Bit of a strange one

I live alone

This morning I noticed a scrunched up bit of tissue paper in my back garden. Right next to it is a cigarette butt. I don’t smoke and it definitely wasn’t there before. My back garden can be accessed by anyone as there is a lane behind it. I have a fence and gate and no gaps so I don’t think it could have blown into the garden in the wind.

Neighbours can’t have thrown it over because of where it is and fences are too high on their side. its right outside my French doors. On closer inspection it looks wet but it’s not been raining, just looks like there is a clear liquid on it.. am I being unreasonable to be paranoid about how these things have got there?

You said there's a lane behind the garden. So someone chucked it in. Why the worry?

Well you clearly need to send them both off for DNA testing OP!!!

If its next to the lane- surely someone just threw them over?

What are you hoping for from the thread OP? Definitely a perv having a wank in the back lane, then threw the tissue and cig on your properly to get their jollies! 🙄

I don’t understand what the big deal is. Or why you’ve taken to MN to post about it…?

We have a roof terrace on the third floor which has a human-height wall all the way round. I found a McDonald's package up there yesterday. I assume it's the wind or a bird.

I wouldn’t be so sure, sounds to me like the Hamburgler may have scaled the side of your house in the night

Please tell me you're joking 🤣

Absolutely not, there could be crucial DNA on that tissue that will lead to an arrest.

The OP said they were placed together in the garden. If blown by the wind, or littered or dropped by a womble bird, I doubt they would be close together.

offending article. I just thought it looks like someone has put them there and also the tissue being pulled apart. They are outside the French doors which is far up from the garden from the gate! So don’t they think could have been thrown over. also I don’t think it could have come from a neighbours top window as not over looking. But thank you for your replies maybe I am being paranoid
