Because my DP and DC are all lazy.

im recovering from a stomach bug I had last week which drained me and I’m so tired. The house is an absolute mess. Kids won’t/can’t do it. DP ‘busy’
Dog needs a walk and I think it’s just taken for granted that I’d be cooking cleaning then taking the dog out. I asked for help and then asked again for each to do specific tasks .

DP needed to help by walking the dog
DC needed to help with meal prep and clear table
They are too busy it seems 🤷‍♀️

All in their rooms and I don’t think anyone has even realised yet that I got in the car went for a drive got some food and am now sitting here relaxing. I’ll go back in a bit and go to bed as I have to leave for work early….. DP is having his parents round tomorrow so I know he’s going to have to tidy up and he will know the dog needs to go out too. I’m not doing any of it anymore I think they all need to learn !

Do it Flowers

Agree ! They will soon notice their “maid” has disappeared when they get hungry. Go enjoy you time 💐

I just couldn’t keep asking as they weren’t listening and I’ve had enough of it. I feel bad for the dog but this always happens I feel bad for him but I’m reality I know he will be vocal he needs to go out !

Even if they weren’t lazy, you are entitled to do fuck all on a Friday night. No woman has to constantly be on the go just because she happens to have a vagina. Leave them to it. So shit doesn’t get done by you for once? Meh. They’ll live.

Do it I feel like this! So frustrating the only thing I’d worry about is my dog…as for the rest of them….

I did feel bad but he will start howling I actually think he can tell the time so he will let them know he needs his walk !

It’s so depressing that you have to ask for ‘help’ with things that are household issues and not your personal responsibility.

Deep down you must know it’s not okay to do everything or to feel bad about having a rest?

ChippyTea16 · 02/06/2023 19:44

Oh well done OP, good for you! What did you get to eat?? 😀

Babsexxx · 02/06/2023 19:45

Haha bludy loveee it he will let them know 🤣

caringcarer · 02/06/2023 19:49

I'd stay out tonight too and tell him so he realises he has to tidy before his Mum comes tomorrow. Can you find a cheap hotel and go straight from there to work tomorrow morning?
