Am I over thinking this text from salon?

I wasn’t happy with my last nail appointment so I deleted my account with the salon as I didn’t think I’d return. (You book through an app with specific nail technicians.) Time has come for an infill.

An alternative salon I wanted to try instead doesn’t infill or remove BIAB manicures from other salons and requests you attend with bare nails. So I had to book back in with the first salon for a removal of the manicure. Made a new account etc.

Ended up just booking my infill with a different technician at the first salon, to save the faff of having multiple nail appointments at different salons. But the new nail technician text asking what’s on my nails as they can’t see I attended there before and they have a policy of not infilling/removing other salon’s work too.

This is because I deleted my account lol. I have the email booking confirmation of my last appointment to prove their salon did my nails but they’re probably wondering why I deleted my account. I’d find it awkward to say cause their colleague put me off!

Just say you managed to delete it by mistake.

Just style it out and say you got hacked and had to delete everything/ did it by accident. Big smiles and move the discussion on, then never go back. They would be weird to nitpick.

Hope they don’t nitpick. I’ve got a feeling they may check with the old nail technician after I send the booking email, as it has her name/photo and date/time of the previous appointment

Old one will probably think “ffs her” haha as I did complain about my nails back then as they were uneven/patchy. Already regretting booking in with the same salon again

I'd find a new salon in and say you've just moved to the area? I mean there are people - like me - who have really moved and had to find somewhere else to sort out existing nails.

Couldn't you just use acetone and a light filing to remove them? It says BIAB is a soak-off gel (I had to google as never heard of them!)

No way would I return to a salon I didn't like, nor pay for the privilege.

Just show them the booking and tell them you deleted your account by mistake. It's not a big deal.
