I had a positive qfit test it was very very high got a 2 week red flag referral to the hospital for a colonoscopy and then was diagnosed with three internal grade 2 haemorrhoids.

my problem is I don't believe them I'm convinced the consultant has missed something or just seen the piles and not worried about the rest of the scope. I can't shift this panicked feeling I have spoken to friends and they are telling me i am fine. Blood in stool was my only symptom and I'd had it years so wasn't a shock it was there anyway but it hit me like a ton of bricks I was convinced I had the C word. I can't understand why I am feeling like this

They won’t have just stopped looking when they saw the piles.
They also should have given you a copy of the report, and will certainly have sent one to the GP. They will have indicated how far they went and what was seen. Book a telephone consultation with the GP so they can reassure you about the findings.
