I took my car to Autoglass on Thursday to get the windscreen replaced through my Admiral insurance. The next day the battery was flat. I phone the guy who did the replacement and he reads out an in internal email that says they know this can happen when the windscreen is replaced on my type of car. I need to take it to a garage and they'll look at it if I get a written report saying they caused it. Wtf?
Admiral saying the same. I'm livid. So Autoglass have fucked up the electrics in my car, in work directed by Admiral but it's up to me to get it fixed, then they'll look at it and decide if it's their fault.
So...AIBU? who should sort it? Any tips on how to get it escalated? now been on hold to Admiral for 35 minutes while they decide if they will escalate. I thought I had roadside assistance, turns out I hadn't put it on the policy (I'm a dick for that part).
