Lovevery play kits?

Just been looking at some potential new toys for my almost 2 year old, as I think she's outgrown a lot of the more baby developmental items we had - and stumbled across Lovevery.

WOW these things are so expensive? 120 pounds for about 3 wooden items and maybe one plastic toy?? I feel like if I went on Amazon it would be about half the cost of that.

Am I missing something here? It doesn't look like you even get that much in them for the price tag - but to be fair I've never ordered anything from there so happy to be told otherwise! Anyone tried these kits out?

Just get stuff secondhand, people are often super keen to get rid of baby stuff for pennies.

People cream themselves over expensive wooden stuff but babies actually love bright plastic. My kids couldn't have been less interested in the rainbows, wobbler boards and climbing triangles.

Sorry toddler rather than baby but same applies!

Lovevery toys are nice, very well made, I nanny a child that has them. But god that price shocked me, they're not worth that much

Silly people buy into the fad of how 'good, quality' they are. They are, but then you can find literally hundreds of other places doing the same thing at a far of the cost. I think people just want to pay for taking the mental effort out of what's appropriate for each age. A friend had this subscription and cancelled when after a few boxes realised she could get everything so much cheaper.

even their resale value on vinted is decent - i can not find decent substitutions for lots of the toys they use. A little girl we know had a subscription and tbf. the toys are decent.

I've just tried ordering cheaper substitutes on Amazon and they were rubbish quality and am returning. I'm probably going to subscribe. I'd rather my little one had fewer but better quality toys.
