Oh dear!!

thanks for linking

Good on him. I work with a narcissist who is constantly protected and it is a good thing when these people get called out

DustyLee123 · 30/05/2023 06:50

Well done for speaking out. I see he doesn’t think much of HW either, and that’s very telling.

MySugarBabyLove · 30/05/2023 06:56

There’s already a long thread on this, but:

The louder someone shouts, and the more they protest about something, the more skeletons they generally have in their own closets. I wonder what Eamon homes is hiding.

I don’t care for Philip Schofield but Eamon Homes, and anyone else who works for GB news generally does so because they’ve sank to the depths of bigotry, and because no reputable channel will generally look at them.

When people praise Eamon Homes for going off on his rant about PS, remember this is the man who asked a rape survivor whether she’d learned her lesson about not getting into a taxi on the night she was raped. Just digest that for a minute.

They’re hideous.every last one of them, but Eamon Homes is seemingly flavour of the hour.

This has all gone too far now and needs to stop.

Granny will get a shock, not only about Phil and the runner but also the reality of who Holly is and how she and the husband took family holidays with Phil. Now we know why they were so happy and full of beans on set.

I take it the only loose woman who likes Philip has the daughter as a manager?

Onefootinthegroove · 30/05/2023 07:27

Well, nothing there that's not already been reported on.
I agree that the matter needs an Independent review as the young man was categorically not safeguarded.

TeaYarn · 30/05/2023 07:44

It’s funny how two people who worked alongside PS and MM claim they new nothing and everything at the same time.

They seem to want us to think it was a secret until the TV awards in Jan 2020. Yet EH and RL were hugging PS a month later when he came out.

They need to do a real interview with a proper journalist who will pin down what they know and when they knew it.

At the moment it’s just bitter ex ITV employees bitching about an ex colleague.

SweetSakura · 30/05/2023 07:46

Eamon seems to be using this young man's awful experience to further his own agenda. It's exploitative

SweetSakura · 30/05/2023 07:47

(what Phil S has done is awful. But interviews like this don't feel like the solution)

Sunnysunbun · 30/05/2023 08:01

Awful man talks to awful man about awful man.

Thanks but no thanks.

Ijustcantthinkofaname · 30/05/2023 08:19

Well done to Eamonn, someone has to speak out

Willmafrockfit · 30/05/2023 08:21

yes careful Eamon
you knew so much and yet did nothing

Simonjt · 30/05/2023 08:21

Isn’t he a rape aplogist?

bellac11 · 30/05/2023 08:26

What has the young man said, has he reported being exploited/abused?

This needs repeating on every Eamonn Holmes thread.

Let’s not hold him up as a beacon of righteous truth. He has scented an opportunity to boost his flagging profile, and grabbed it like a drowning man onto a life belt, even if it means grubbing around in filth.

Shame on him, shame on all of them.

FifteenQuarter · 30/05/2023 08:29

There is no perfect victim.

There is no perfect whistle blower.

There’s an association between Christine Lampard and PS (Dancing on Ice), and CL and the YMU Agency. CL does a lot of that morning tv stuff, eg has been a stand-in for Lorraine. Touts for more via YMU.

Is Molly at YMU PS’s daughter? She was (and maybe still is) CL’s ‘talent manager’.

FifteenQuarter · 30/05/2023 08:42

The one show - one loose women

AutumnCrow · 30/05/2023 08:47

Molly Schofield is also the ‘talent manager’ for Stacey Solomon.

And now also, in a private/freelance capacity, her father.

Busy woman.

HW wasn’t happy with YMU a while ago and received a million quid or so in a dispute settlement. I wonder if that made things awkward, or that’s just everyday business.

Radyward · 30/05/2023 08:50

I actually believed him.i thought his comments rang true . i also feel v sorry for eamon and Ruth who were great on the show and were kicked out.also eamon suffers with chronic pain poor man which is just soul destroying.itv is in the proverbial and is shown up for what it is -old boys network-cesspit of bullys and power abusers of young people.Good on Eamon. He is now out in the cold and hasnt much to lose

dooneyousmugelf · 30/05/2023 08:53

He seemed to want to whizz past the denial that he knew anything about the relationship and focus on slagging off Phil for being rude, not knowing people's names, being a narcissist and whatever else. It was odd I thought.

Flunkey · 30/05/2023 09:02

He is thinking only of himself and not the alleged victim. I wonder if EH has got his consent to use his experience to lynch PS. I doubt it.

NotAnotherPylon · 30/05/2023 09:04

The louder someone shouts, and the more they protest about something, the more skeletons they generally have in their own closets.

Is there some sort of sociological or psychological study to back this up? Or is it just your opinion? I mean, it doesn't make any logical sense. Is it because you think having faults or secrets renders someone an unreliable source? I'm not sure how that would be relevant unless they are revealed as a persistent liar.

I'm not sticking up for Eamonn Holmes as a person by the way - simply supporting his right to have an opinion on something of which he has personal experience. Even if he has secrets of his own (no idea.) And even if I don't especially like him.
