to think I should be able to top up LESS than £10 on my mobile and be able to draw £5 out of the cash machine if I want?

I remember when you could top up by a fiver on your mobile. I usually top up £10 a good few time a month but am skint so tried £5 and wouldn't let me!

I also think they should have £5 notes in cash machines too.

they have £5 withdrawals in barclays - but in the inside cash machine.

Agree with top-up.

Sherbert37 · 20/02/2008 14:23

£5 top up allowed on my Orange card - lasts me months as I haven't mastered the art of texting or one handed dialling yet.

allgonebellyup · 20/02/2008 14:24

scorpio - is that for any bank user or do you have to be with barclays?

I agree re: cash machines. I have found this is only possible in the bank situated in our University Students union. It pisses me off big time that the cash machines nearly always only have £20 notes.

nickytwotimes · 20/02/2008 14:28

hana - you are shocked that someone would have less than a tenner on them?!
I have less than a pound by the time "cash withdrawl day" comes round every Wednesday!

allgonebellyup · 20/02/2008 14:29

hanaflower - i never have ANY cash on me, normally not even 50p!!
As soon as i have cash it just seems to get gobbled up.

Fivers from a cash machine would be fab.

allgonebellyup · 20/02/2008 14:29

x-posts!

VinegarTits · 20/02/2008 14:32

I also listened to an O2 message about unlimited texts for £30 a month the other day, I didnt press anything and put the phone down,

then I got a text saying welcome to O2 unlimted texts please top up by £30 by think it was about a week away!

I dont even want them

and now i have to call o2 customer services to cancel it and the call you get charged for

I can top up £5 on my vodafone phone. I suppose it depends on how you top up. I don't think you can buy £5 top up cards, but I can certainly do it with my debit card and at the cash machines. Agree about fivers in cash machines aswell. I am routinely skint and never carry much cash on me would love to be able to jus ttake out £5.

if you pay via debit card you can top up 5 pounds

Disenchanted · 20/02/2008 16:59

No wiimii

because I top up £10 when i have 10, some months ill top up a few times but then others not at all because i have no spare cash.

If i had a contract i would have to have 'X' amount on a certain day which I cant always guarentee i will!
