To be clear - I am not asking about lifestyle improvements like healthy diet and exercise or HRT / antidepressants. Just the little tips and tricks that help you to get through a week of brain fog, insecurities, constant urge to eat and ponder the meaning of life. Few from me if at helps anyone:

At home, I try to cut myself some slack with chores, go walking if can’t face proper exercise or running, try to talk less to avoid saying crap. Avoid impulse buys and don’t book trips as I won’t enjoy the experience anyway, so it’s a stained memory.

At work, if possible avoid scheduled important meetings and out off making big decisions until next week. Also talk less, avoid annoying colleagues but force small talk with nice ones to maintain normality facades.

What do you do, how you cope and also advice on constant hunger, what do you nibble on to not regret later?

Similar. People have laughed in the past when I say this but i try and declutter in the first weeks of thee month, knowing I’ll be too lethargic for chores and stress later. Meal prep in this ‘phase’ too! exercise as much as I can and try to low carb and eat as many green veggies as I can. Both seem to help. Try to avoid conflict and letter writing in the days before a period lest I overreact or overthink.

Also, big comfy pants , loungewear and easy podcasts 😊

Thank you. Ref. Podcast and content consumption generally, I feel drawn to self care and style/beauty themes as if I need to fix myself, so actually make an effort to look out for more distracting content like history, to think about something else rather than my body and how it all feels.

Ah goodness. Need this.

As I get older I am really struggling with pms. The whole week is poor mental health and feeling physically broken.

I may try some of your tips @Justyouwait as they sound very helpful and sensible.

My GP has not been helpful despite being a fairly good GP.

I so need this too! Amazing tips!

Today I have cramps, feeling very tired, snappy and I can’t concentrate on simple tasks/keep forgetting what I’m doing 🙈.

I do make sure I drink plenty of water and try to do very little house work. Going to bed early is also a priority.
