AIBU for more traction. Governor at our primary stepped down and removed her daughter from reception. What would you make of this? There's been a bit of chatter.

Of course they can do what they want it just does raise eyebrows cause you now see them walking to the school next door in a new uniform

This is good because it means you can go tap her on the shoulder and ask her to tell you her personal business.

Make sure she doesn't hold back, so you can feed every little detail back to the rest of the gossips.

I suddenly pulled my DC suddenly out of school because the boys were vaping , sexual harassment, disrupting lessons. My DDs there to learn but it was like a zoo. It honestly wasn't the teachers fault the boys suddenly turned feral in year 5 and the teachers can't control it when the parents don't step in and actively parent.

She's gone to the little primary 3 minutes up the road and she's much happier. Its better behaved.

I have just found out this was directly after another mother was screaming in the playground over the constant complaints she was getting at pick up time.

Apparently the governor decided to bring it up and decided it wasn’t for her. The environment and gossiping.

Shame you feel the need to keep the gossip mill churning.

I did this!

Wish had never been a governor because I learnt what was really going on behind the scenes and it was awful. Moved kids to a different school and noticed immediately how much better the environment was. Had no experience of other school to compare to.

There's probably something going on but they can't tell you so 🤷🏼‍♀️

And here you are still gossiping.

A lot of the parents don’t know the stats and progress of a school. I didn’t! Most pick what’s on their doorstep don’t they.

If it’s something bad then why shouldn’t I be concerned.

Move your child, then.
