Should Holly go too?

After all the recent controversy (and everything that has happened since 3 years ago) should she go too?

I think they should have owned the queue jumping, but she's just doing what she's been advised to say

Controversial, but.....

I think it's a shame that after 13 years of award winning, audience topping entertainment (you may not think so but that is factual - not my opinion) Pip doesn't get a chance to say goodbye. I hope that TM (and Holly) pay him some respect on Monday.

I don’t understand why the queue jumping was so controversial - they had press passes and fit it in between work commitments. Why did this trigger so much loathing?

Many, many press personnel and journalists also were able to 'queue jump' in order to file reports etc. They have both been flamed unnecessarily for this. I don't remember Alice Beer being villified in the same way......

The "queue jumping" was fine I think coz they did filming and weren't in the actual queue. I think it didn't help that David beckham was a legend and joined The Queue (tm). We were all a bit obsessed with the queue by this point.

When it came to it their friendship really didn't count for much. That being said I found the pair arrogant when together. I much prefer Holly with anyone else and would like to see Vernon get the job. I think he's better than Dermot at tackling the more serious stuff and asking probing questions. I do like Dermot though.

Holly had gotten better at the job with time. I think she will leave because in his first statement he talked about Holly supporting him and vice versa. I think he has shit on her, it's been suggested that she isn't squeaky clean in the press before and then glossed over. Time will tell.

I don't think we know enough facts to decide if either should go. Maybe it will all come out now. I do worry Phil has been through alot and this must be affecting his mental health. What happened to the #bekind ?

I think she should go but only because it would be nice to give someone else a chance on the sofa, not because she's done anything wrong.

I’m not keen on Holly or Phil. I don’t like the way she has dealt with his situation though. I think the best thing for the show would be fresh presenters, not even smug Holly, so viewers can start to enjoy the show again.

If the show didn’t pull in the viewings then I’m sure itv would not be slow to cut her loose, but it obviously does.

She's smug, insincere and completely irritating. Why are we always deemed to be jealous if we don't like someone?!

I can't stand her or him and never watch day time telly.

However i've been following the story and I think if she goes it will make her look implicated in his wrongdoings.

Why are we blaming Holly for the mistakes of a man? Why would she know about the rubber, I assume at the time she thought he was happily married as they all holidayed together. Why would she suspect he was grooming the runner - maybe she suspected he was gay and thought he was too flirty but some of my friends have had affairs and I only knew afterwards.

I truly believe the reason they have fallen out is because she found out he knew about his brother and he was around her children. I would be furious if that happened to me.

I realise I have made massive assumptions but they are believable and I don't think she should be punished for being friends with someone.

She threw him under the bus then has the two faced audacity to release a statement saying she'll miss him on the couch. She's so fake and insincere it's unbelievable. I can see right through her cutesy pie act.
