I was thinking that this could be a blinding idea for a thread - sharing referral codes/links for companies we use and genuinely think are great…which would benefit both the referee and the referrer in terms of discount (rather than going direct and paying full whack).
Mine are:
- Gousto. Have tried other food box companies and this is my favourite. I am stupidly busy and don’t have time to go to the supermarket, so it’s either online shops (with crazy substitutions, particularly at the moment with shelves being bare), or food subscription boxes. Gousto has taken a lot of stress out of my life in terms of mental load with meal planning, we have tried lots of new things and got out of the food rut we were in. I used to be put off by the expense of food boxes but now supermarkets are so expensive I don’t think there’s much in it! The first box is ridiculously cheap, so if you’re skint and wondering how to feed the family for the next week, you can just sign up to get the one super cheap box and then cancel (it’s very easy to cancel or pause the subscription at any time), or if you want to carry it on you get 25% off for the next two months which is pretty good. And of course once you have the recipe cards you can keep them and reuse them by buying the ingredients in future if it’s something you liked.

- Stitch Fix. This is an online personal shopping service which is brilliant for people like me who are USELESS at choosing clothes. I’ve been getting boxes from them for a few years (just randomly as and when I feel like it, you don’t have to get them every month or anything). You set your budget, take style quizzes so they get an idea of the kind of thing you like, and you also set your budget and can leave a note for your stylist if you’re looking for something for a particular occasion, or new work clothes or whatever. They then pick 5 items, and you can either review them before they’re sent, and reject anything you definitely don’t like, or you can choose to have a complete surprise. I’ve had some really lovely items from them over the years, things that I’d never have tried on if I’d seen them in the shop. There’s a £10 styling fee that you pay when you order your fix, but that’s knocked off the price of things you choose to keep. Anything you want to send back, just stick it back in the box it came in and there’s a prepaid label in there to return, it’s super easy.

Please add codes you have below for companies you love using, and hopefully we can all save some pennies along the way 😊
