I am particularly cross about ours, as we have so much coastline and our bills are therefore the highest, or among the highest, in the country.
The 'premium' we pay is to cover the cost of keeping all that coast clean.
As reported today, our county also has suffered the highest number of sewage discharges.
So for many many years our water provider has Ben raking it in, saving itself the bother of keeping its infrastructure update, saving itself the bother of keeping our coastline clean ( and you should not forget our poor rivers and aquatic life), al so they could pay their shareholders and the upper echelons of 'management' nice fat cheques.
And far from being ashamed at their own abysmal performance, they are saying that in order to invest in updated infrastructure, they will be charging us even more.
ATM I am just thinking wow, friends in parliament or what?
