To think clothes for me don’t exist anymore?

I’m 30, size 10, 5ft7…could do to lose a few pounds, don’t exercise enough, etc so a bit soft around the edges since having kids.

I’m desperate to start making more of an effort with my clothes. Happy in jeans and have been experimenting with different cuts but I’m really struggling with tops…they’re all so short!

I’m looking for something like a floral blouse to wear with skinny jeans (dated, I know but I like them) that’s a bit longer to hide my saddle bags.

Where can I shop?!

Marks and Spencer, Hush, Oliver Bonas

I haven’t tried Oliver Bonas - thank you

Just remembered Silkfred too!

It's all shite at the moment. I'm 35 and 5"10, size 12 and everything is cropped! I also look a right dick in mom jeans because I'm tall, they look so much nicer on shorter girls.

I hate all the floral prints that come out in summer and I despise those tiered maxi dresses with the extra bit of material at the bottom.

I've come to the conclusion I'm a winter dresser. Skinny jeans, knits and a long coat all the way 😂

Dorothy Perkins tall range. M&S tops are made so no shirt they are comical.

@bluebeck

I have this from H & M, it's a good length but drapey enough not to swamp, I sized up...comes in lots of patterns/colours too...

The problem is that even when you find such a top, the fabrics are invariably awful and the necklines are all really high or the sleeves are enormous- most often all three.

Might be worth a look in Monsoon?

River Island have a beautiful embroidered cotton blouse but it’s let down by Stupid Fucking Big Sleeves Syndrome.

I’m plus size and seem to have a long body as well. I shop ‘tunic’ and ‘minidress’ and frequently wear a minidress with trousers which works for me. It is all quite lowly which suits me but isn’t for everyone. Might be worth a look, however.m
