What came after? If you have 3 kids that is! All the families I know who had girl then boy, had another boy after! So I’m putting my theory to the test!

I was talking to DH about this the other day. When people have lots of the same sex they seem to think it means they can’t ever produce the opposite sex, when really it’s just the same as flipping heads 9 times in a row. It doesn’t mean you can’t flip tails if you see what I mean. Very unlikely but has to happen to someone!

There’s 5 couples in our ‘generation’ of family with small children and all 5 have had either girl then boy, or boy then girl - none have had 2 the same!

Why is everyone saying different ones from what the op asked? 😆 she asked those specifically that had a girl then a boy what came next, she didn't ask what order people had their kids 🤔

I think sometimes our circle can make us think that something is more common than it is.
I commented my DH when all of our siblings had second child the same sex as their first that it was really unusual because when I was a kid almost all the pairs we knew were opposite sex.
There were 12 families with two children in the close where are grew up (spanning about 20 years) there was one family with two girls the rest were all boy/girl or girl/boy.
My three best friends all had a brother. My brother's closest friends all only had a sister.

DH looked at me as if I was mad - his childhood street, primary school friends and cousins are all in boy/boy or girl/girl pairs.
