How is universal credit so useless?

I am on universal credit due to 1k childcare costs and 1k rent. EVERY MONTH they literally just 'forget' to add my childcare costs on even though I report them on time and I end up having to call them constantly to get them to fix it. Does anyone have this problem? I feel like screaming sometimes. Is there a way I can just get them to pay me on time? I really am not interested in constantly moaning about it but have no idea how to get them to just do their jobs...

Mine used to be the same. It’s because the childcare costs have to be manually approved whereas the statement is automatically done. So if the costa aren’t approved before statement is produced then they’re not taken into account

I've had it go 3 months before and had to take our a credit card once to pay for things because I didn't get my childcare for no reason and had to pay it off when it was backdated. All reported on time. As soon as my son goes to school in September I won't have to deal with it anymore as I'll be OK financially, so just need to get through the next few months.
