Any bikeability instructors? Is it worth training to be one

I have been leading Breeze rides for a while and one day in conversation discussion came round to Bikeability. Someone has suggested that I could do a course and become a freelance bikeability instructor.
Is anyone an instructor? Is it enjoyable and worth doing?

I'm surprised there are no Bikeability instructors around!

Not an instructor but work in a related field/alongside. I’d say go for it, it’s incredibly rewarding. Lots of local authorities only have bikeability funding to deliver this type of work so it’s even more important. Active travel England are starting to make revenue funding available so this sort of work can be offered alongside capital/infrastructure schemes.
