Royal mail tracking says delivered and has pictute. But not delivered

It says delivered and has a pic of the front of the package. No one in the pic receiving it.

I have been at home all day and have just knocked on the neighbours but they don't have it.

What should I do?

Its £50 worth if stuff.

if it hasn’t been delivered, you need to go to whoever you bought it from, it’s they that have the contract with Royal Mail not you. The supplier hasn’t fulfilled their contract with you until they’ve delivered the package to your instructions.

Unfortunately, if you said it was OK to leave outside, or OK to leave with neighbour, and they did that, and it disappeared after that, then they’ve fulfilled their part.

Contact Royal Mail asap and ask them to track / find out exactly where this parcel was left. Do you recognise the background of the photo? Maybe have a walk along your street to see if there is somewhere similar?

RM and Parcelforce are notorious for doing this. In our case a very expensive parcel was left in an open garage next door to our customer. No-one was in, and the delivery guy had put down our customers name saying they had signed for it when they hadn't!

Its literally just the front of the parcel no background.
Its quite bizarre. Now its saying we couldn't deliver today but still has the picture as proof of delivery.
I tweeted them earlier so will see what they say as from the senders side it isn't showing as delivered yet.

I’ve had this several times. Delivery photo of someone’s thumb and then it turns up the next day

This happened to me. I eventually found it behind the cat tree as the postman had dropped the package through an open window in the living room

I have been waiting on post such as two dvds one cd one sink plug for a fortnight now saw postie yesterday and today but still no post what is going on it's getting really annoying now

I've had that several times; first message that it's been delivered, then that they couldn't deliver today. Very annoying but it will most likely turn up soon.

My best 'proof' photo was a close up of the parcel being handed over. One of the hands had a black cuff, the other a blue one, and the only background was a small section of tarmac. Fortunately one of the cuffs turned out to belong to DH, but I don't know what we would have done if it hadn't. Gone searching like a modern day Prince Charming with a cuff instead of a glass slipper, perhaps.

Could it have been taken from the front of your house? Also saw something g on a news report about delivery drivers photographing delivery and then keeping parcels.

Ask them for the gps location of the delivery van at the time they say it was delivered. O did this with a courier company and li and behold suddenly they backtracked and said it hadn’t been delivered after all! I
