Why can’t catch up/ on demand play in HD?

I don’t get it! The quality is so poor and fuzzy watching on catchup compared to on the HD channels.
Don’t get me started that half the time subtitles aren’t available (especially itvx).
Why can’t they have it like it is on the HD channels. Tried to watch a series on 4od yesterday and it was practically unwatchable it was that blurry. Why can’t they just upload everything as HD? Maddening!

It could be you connection speed/quality. I find itxv ok for quality. Looks like a regular HD channel for me.

...same goes for the other streaming channels for me. The quality is fine and I'm quite OCD when it comes to this sort of thing. I have a 65" TV I can't bear to watch SD channels.

If it's fuzzy it will be your Internet that is to blame, not the streaming service.
