Does anyone know how I can get my hair back to my natural colour?
I have a blonde colour put on with a cap at the hairdressers .
I have naturally mousy brown with greys / whites on the top usually!
I'm sick of having it lightened and can't really afford the upkeep but how do I get my hair back to normal!!
I have had it dyed brown before but didn't like it as it was a block colour.
Worried if I had lowlights it would look odd - having blonde brown and grey all at once?!!
Help!!!

I'm pretty sure once you've bleached it then you can't get your natural colour back without growing it or dying it. I think you can get colour removal treatment but it doesn't work on bleached hair.

Balayage! I just had it for the same reasons.

Another way is to use semi or demi permanent colour, lighter than your natural colour at first. It won’t really cover the greys but presumably that’s what you want.

A reverse balayage/ root smudge will make it much nicer as you grow out the blonde.

If you still want to have some form of highlight rather than fully your natural colour then balayage is really low maintenance. You only need to go once every 6 months or so, you could probably stretch it longer than that.

Thanks everyone! It's not bleach it's a blonde dye - does that make a difference?
How would baylage work - I like the sound of that! Smile
