I have a DD, 17 months next week and in nursery full time. Use to be a great sleeper up until she started walking which was on the Easter bank holiday weekend. Since then, she doesn't want to sleep except for the evenings she's with her dad. He works three nights in the week and on the two he doesn't work, I have gym classes. On the two nights he does bedtime, she relaxes, gives him cuddles and falls asleep on him before it's even her bedtime. When it comes to my evenings to do bedtime, she won't sit down, won't cuddle, wants to jump on me, jump all over the sofa, find anything she can to play with, screams when I put her to bed. I don't understand why, me and my partner both give her the same bed time routine but she just won't settle for me. I love her so much but really am so tired, I started a new job less than two months ago and feel myself falling asleep at my desk because I just need an early night. I haven't had a proper dinner in months in the week on the nights I'm alone because I don't have time due to DD screaming as soon as I go in the kitchen. I really just want her to have her usual 7:30pm bedtime with me so I can eat and sleep..
