Trapped in nursing career?

Am feeling utterly hopeless and anxious about my career. After being miserable on the wards for 5 years, I stopped clinical ward nursing 3 years ago to work in an office-based, albeit still a nursing role. I enjoy my job but there is currently no progression opportunities. I desperately want to branch outside of nursing and mistakenly believed a more office based role would open doors for me. I am getting job rejection after job rejection, I have never experienced this before! Nobody will even give me a chance or an interview. I have even had recruiters ask why i am applying to graduate, entry level jobs as I am a nurse. I am trying to stay positive but I am tired of being skint every month and it is really getting me down how pigeonholed I am. My lack of recent clinical experience wont even allow me to join a staff bank. Does anybody have any suggestions for alternative careers for nurses that are transferable, pay reasonably and aren't impossible to get into?

Pharmaceutical sales? I know someone who did this very successfully. Also sales of other medical equipment.

Working for a law firm that specialises in clinical negligence or high value Personal injury litigation as a paralegal. They need people to review notes, take histories, witness statements etc. Your office skills would be a plus.
