Towels

[TowelQuestion]

Sorry all - I've posted here for traffic!

Do you use the same towel for all areas of your body (face, feet, general body area, genitals, bum) when you have a shower/bath or not? If you do, how often do you wash them?

Because it's a really frequent question in MN that can easily be Googled.

Because 9/10 like most topics on MN it has wild extremes of answers and arguments.

So does little to really gauge an average or idea of what is usual for most people.

Fresh bath sheet and hand towel for my hair every day. I don’t want soggy towels hanging all over my house every day. 😷

Not that it honestly matters what others do but I dry my face with a hand towel which then goes on hair turban like. Then bath towel everywhere else top down. Washed weeky ish

I have a hand towel I use to dry hair and my face and a bath towel for the west of my body. They get used 3 times then washed.

How do you keep on top of the washing and drying? Not to mention the ultility cost.

One towel for everything and washed when I think about it. And shock horror three of us use it.
I remember my mil on the rare occasions she stayed with us having 3 flannels and the kids asking me why? That could have been mortifying but at least they asked me and not her.

I use a towel for my face then my hair, another for the rest of my body. One goes on the bed and I 'air dry' for a while (I have fatigue & need to lay down for a bit after I have a shower). I use them about 3 times before they get washed, depending on the weather as I prefer to line dry.

my friend uses a small travel towel, but I like to wrap my towel around me!

But washing two towels every day will give you two wet towels hanging around the house anyway. If you don't wash them, you just have two slightly damp towels instead, which are much quicker to dry. 🙄

1 body towel, 1 hair towel (microfiber). I reuse a few times, not a set amount just when i think its had enough use. I don't really towel dry my face just let it air dry. I just wrap body towel around me I don't rub it into my bum or whatever you're worried about!

Yes and we both use the same towel for about a week. Nothing bad has happened.

Same towel for all of the body and shock partner and I share one! I figure we're clean having just gotten out of the shower.

I can only imagine that poster tumble dries them and must have money to burn

So, just like most of the threads then? I've been on MN for nearly two decades and I've seen many a repeated question but there is no need to criticise people for asking questions that 'don't matter'.

At Tampon Towers we have separate bathrooms for each section of the body, with a set of colour coded towels in each.
