To think I shouldn’t feel this tired?

Currently at the end of my second wave of the Six Pack Revolution. Both times I’ve done it, I’ve felt great - just telling you this info to show I don’t think the tiredness is due to diet as I’m eating really healthily, nothing processed, no alcohol, lots of protein, and lots of exercise etc.

Last couple of weeks or so I’ve felt so knackered. Doing the school run in the morning (on foot) feels like walking through treacle. And I just want to nap in the day. There have been a few days where I’ve been ok.

This probably sounds really obvious and stupid but I do notice that if I’ve had a late night, say past 10.30, that’s when I feel it the next day. But I’ve never been affected by late nights before like this - could it just be as simple as that, I suddenly can’t hack a late night??!
I’m a real worrier when it comes to health so my brain is going into overdrive and telling me there’s something really wrong with me…🙄😳

Have you dropped your calories too low? Could you be pregnant? Could your iron be low - you'd probably notice also feeling a bit more breathless too.

wibblewobbleball · 13/05/2023 16:19

And also... are you getting enough sleep? Like 8 hours or more?

Notmyusual80 · 13/05/2023 16:22

Nope - weirdly on the Six Pack plan you eat loooads of food - 6 times a day - think lots of chicken, tuna, avocado, eggs, nuts, full fat yogurt. I honestly think I’m eating more calories than when I was stuffing cakes and chocolate etc 😆

Definitely not pregnant.

Not noticed any breathlessness.

I’m early 40s if that helps.

I don’t get a huge amount of sleep - 7 hours if I’m lucky - but I’ve been like that for ages. Could it suddenly be that my body can’t handle that?

Any symptoms of peri menopause? I'd suggest seeing your gp, could be lack of iron, vit c or d perhaps

Notmyusual80 · 13/05/2023 16:44

No other symptoms of peri menopause as far as I’m aware. I’m not taking any vits at the moment as I’ve felt like I should be getting enough from a healthy diet but perhaps not, especially Vit D.

Are you drinking enough water? That gets me when I forget

Skybluepinky · 13/05/2023 17:03

Go and see yr GP, if it’s not usual for u it needs looking into.

Notmyusual80 · 13/05/2023 17:17

Yes, I drink loads of water. Will book in with GP.
