Should I be concerned about weeks old flavoured water?

MIL found a bottle of flavoured water under the sofa which must have been there for weeks (kids) but for some reason she put it back in the fridge and didn't tell us.

We always have flavoured water so I had some myself and gave the kids some probably Wednesday night/ Thursday morning and today I've felt really sick, been sick and have a bad stomach pain?

Could this be due to the water and should I be concerned?

It's a really stupid question and I feel really stupid about it.

If you’re in the habit of drinking directly from the bottle it could be.

Am I gonna die or will I just have a dodgy tummy for a few day?

Honestly so stupid, I did drink some from the bottle but poured the kids into a cup beforehand (it looked fine) so I hope they're okay!

I imagine it would be an increased risk if you drank directly from the bottle before it went under the sofa as you would have introduced pathogens then which may have grown.

I doubt you’re going to die and it could have been the water or something else.

It’s unlikely to be anything to do with the water.
