Posting here to see if anyone else has experienced this. I had Botox a couple weeks ago. Then got a throat infection and my glands swelled up. Then... face (particularly under eyes) has swollen up. This also happened about a year ago. Had filler, got a chest infection few weeks later, face blew up.
So my question is- has anyone else experienced facial swelling when ill and recentlyish after an injectable? Surely the Botox is the cause of the swelling; my opinion is that the illness would have happened anyway, and my immune system has kicked in and is also fighting the Botox as well as the illness
Have been to doc for throat infection, told him my Botox theory, he couldn't give an opinion as wasn't an area of expertise for him, but have me antibiotics for both throat and swelling.
