So says Rylan Clark

He claims some people in the industry aren’t nice and polite, like they portray themselves to be and behind the scenes they treat people badly…that people are starting to see through it now and all will be revealed…

Willoughby for sure. Saw her filming a show. As soon as it was done. Smile vanishes, RBF and storms straight off stage. Rest of cast happy as Larry stick around to dance a bit and engage with audience members.

It’s all an act. Suspect many others are like this. I can understand why.

Biggestpizzaiveeverseenjesus · 11/05/2023 01:06

He actually said that, how awful
for her

@CherryCokeFanatic Thats not that surprising

Heard from someone I know, someone she knows worked on something Olly Murs was on once and said he was pretty awful off camera.
Always thought he seemed like he'd be a nice guy.

I'd love to hear some truths for any 'celebs' like that. I imagine it would be quite cathartic for all the make-up artists, sound staff and many other production crew that have dealt with them for decades.

Mamai90 · 11/05/2023 01:19

Eamonn is one of my best friends uncle. She always used to tell me he didn't like Phil or Holly. Ashamed to say I actually thought the issue was with him as I thought no way could doe eyed Holly be a bitch in real life!

hesaidshesaidtheysaid · 11/05/2023 01:22

Saw Rylan on a filming of a panel show. I never really thought much of him before but he came across as a very genuine and intelligent person.
Had a lot of time for the audience when not filming.

Biggestpizzaiveeverseenjesus · 11/05/2023 01:24

I really like Eamonn and Ruth and reckon they’re good people

I found real life Eamonn a bit of a sour puss. His family are really lovely people so I think he's probably got good morals. I've only met him twice, once at a wedding and another at a christening but at either event I didn't see him smile all day. I probably shouldn't judge someone so quickly but I guess it was a shock to see he was the complete opposite to the jovial character we see on TV.

It's not really. People couldn't put up with his lies.

Paul O'Grady married a lesbian who has admitted she was a beard for him. I assume it was with her that he had a child. He always talked fondly of his grandchildren. So they made it work. PS is not far off the same age with all the prejudice in the 80s it's easy to see why.

Plenty of men out there living a lie in an unhappy marriage whether they be gay or straight. Same goes for women. Hence - eternally single 🤣

Paul O’Grady married a lesbian so she could stay in the country. His daughter was already born by then, to a woman he had a relationship with. For a while he was bisexual, hence the child. He divorced his wife (who he had never lived with) in 2005 so he could marry his partner.

I haven't been able to stomach Olly Murs since he was on TV soon after appearing on X factor* *and losing to Joe McKeldry. He actually looked into the camera and addresssing Joe said something very similar to "you might of won but look where you are now, sat at home watching me on TV". Despicable. Joe McKelderry had and has more talent in his little toe.

FabFitFifties · 11/05/2023 04:17

Excuse my spelling I'm tired 😂

Ah. Okay, thank you.

Pegsandsunshine · 11/05/2023 04:58

Nothing ever changes anyways, people are exposed as two faced and carry on as normal and at worst are given a different job. No consequences.

There were two recent threads on that topic which reached 1,000 posts. In summary, James Corden, Cilla Black, Jim Davidson, Phil and Holly, Ant (but not Dec), Dawn French and numerous others. Bit of a mixed bag for David Attenborough too.

dig135 · 11/05/2023 06:03

Oh, and David Walliams

PollyPeptide · 11/05/2023 06:13

Yeah he made an unexplained exit from this Morning and he was 1 of the best presenters.

That tells you all you need to know about the quality of This Morning when Rylan Clark is its best presenter!

Simianwalk · 11/05/2023 06:35

wordsthreerandom · 10/05/2023 22:40

@Simianwalk

So a thread about Rylan and you turn it into a Tory bashing?

Wow. Calm down.

We can dislike Megan and Harry, vote Tory and still engage on a thread about Rylan.

Sorry if that displeases you 🙄

You've missed the point spectacularly.

Frustratedsupermodel · 11/05/2023 06:47

I once visited the This Morning set back in the very early 2000s as part of my job. Fern Britton was absolutely lovely - said hello, smiled, very down to earth but unfortunately Philip Schofield was arrogant, rude and dismissive.

CiaoBellisima · 11/05/2023 07:02

PS takes far too great an interest in young teenage boys, I don’t understand why he has never been investigated by the police.

Doris86 · 11/05/2023 07:02

Yet another thread that clearly isn’t an AIBU that for some reason has been posted as an AIBU.

I remember watching that too and thinking at the time , “What a bastard thing to say”.
Joe is a lovely lad, my friend knows him well. And you’re correct, he has got more talent than Olly Murs has.

PhilNW · 11/05/2023 07:15

In the sincerity stakes they all score low or zero. The world would be a lot better off without most of them popping upon our screens every 5 minutes earning way too much money for very little talent.

storminamooncup · 11/05/2023 07:15

I just remember Rylan's OTT reaction the X Factor and I haven't been able to take him seriously since. It was totally fake, so I see him as fake. Plus his look is fake.

I don't really care who is nice or not on TV, as I'm not a particular fan of anyone.

drpet49 · 11/05/2023 07:15

Paul2023 · 10/05/2023 22:06

Even Jim Davidson said that Philip Schofield turned on him on an interview. He said he was nice and pleasant to begin with and then changed when the interview started.

Jim Davidson is vile

MillieMollieMandy1 · 11/05/2023 07:16

I whole thread, that isn't AIBU full of lies and speculation about people we read about, but have never met. My friends uncle met Rylan in the bank ..and my granny hates him.
