I don't believe she did, hence the years of trying not to be outed. Most beards don't stay together for 20 odd years and raise children together. It's an arrangement to suit two people. Mrs Schofield gained nothing.

It's not really. People couldn't put up with his lies.

Paul O'Grady married a lesbian who has admitted she was a beard for him. I assume it was with her that he had a child. He always talked fondly of his grandchildren. So they made it work. PS is not far off the same age with all the prejudice in the 80s it's easy to see why.

Plenty of men out there living a lie in an unhappy marriage whether they be gay or straight. Same goes for women. Hence - eternally single 🤣

I haven't worked with any of them 😄 but I did meet Ant and Dec (very handsome and polished in rl), they were busy but made time for a photo. I hope there's no bad shit about them.

I did feel sorry for PS wife when he said his wedding day was the worst day of his life. Presume she didn’t know at the time.
