They're now talking about it on World at One on Radio 4. They're talking generally about onscreen partnerships/"marriages". The notion that this is just a tiny little storm in a teacup, as some would have it, is pretty much laughable now. Radio 4 doesn't usually talk about shit like this so it's clearly a bit on the huge size right now.

Basically a really sarcastic video giving her heartfelt love and support to Phil and holly for being so brave in doing this morning when they clearly hate each other. Adds in some stuff about them being completely fake esp when he came out as being gay and she was “surprised” when the entirety of ITV knew for decades. And especially one certain runner who we aren’t allowed to talk about 🤣

I caught about 10 mins of This Morning, Holly looks drained, ill and as if she’d rather be somewhere else. Phil keeps looking at her , hoping she looks back but she doesn’t.
I actually feel sorry for her, it must be like being in an abusive marriage and having to pretend everything is great.

I only saw a bit of it this morning but noticed there were no callers phoning in for anything. They had Martin Lewis on doing advice but it was all things they were reading out. Then they had the psychic on later but I was intrigued to see whether anyone was actually allowed to phone in for that ‘phone in’.

I’ve noticed Holly has been posting on IG and allowing comments (obviously aware of what they will say) and there have been hundreds of comments about him below every picture. It’s like she’s purposely not hiding comments just to highlight that she’s not on his side. I really don’t know what their plan long term/after this week is 🤯 Everything seems to be about whether they’re taking/not talking but that’s not the actual problem here, if he’s a questionable character why has it all been allowed to be brushed under the rug for so long?!

@Arxx Everything seems to be about whether they’re taking/not talking but that’s not the actual problem here, if he’s a questionable character why has it all been allowed to be brushed under the rug for so long?!

It is puzzling and the only explanation I can think of is that the minute they get rid of him he will spill the beans and say “Holly and my bosses at ITV all knew about this years ago”. So they will all lose their careers too.

HW should lose her career too. She knew about his inappropriate behaviour and actively colluded in his stunningly brave coming out ridiculousness. Ruth’s face that day should be a meme if it isn’t!

I don’t particularly have strong feelings about HW one way or the other but she’s culpable in this because she was complicit in covering up something that was wrong.

It’s difficult to imagine that she didn’t when they have been such close friends until
now but it’s possible that he didn’t tell her. I suppose they’ve been somewhat mired in scandal after queuegate which damaged their reputations so badly so perhaps he did conceal it. Irrespective of that though she knew about the runner and helped cover it up.

Abusive relationships are considerably more complex than you seem to think.

Financial dependence, emotional distress, physical fear, worry about children and even pets, nowhere to go - how do you take four kids and sleep in a bus shelter and not even have the money to feed them?, lack of outside support - you'd be amazed at how many people take the abuser's side, or how quickly friends and family melt away when there is an angry violent man threatening to kick down their door in the early hours of the morning.

If leaving an abusive relationship was easy, do you not think more women would do titling before they are killed?

@Emotionalsupportviper @LizzieSiddal I think that’s becoming increasingly apparent as this morning keep posting their pathetic attempts on Twitter at dusting themselves off. As of Sunday whoever’s in charge of their Twitter has started posting a ‘tomorrow with Phillip and Holly’ thing with a post about who will be coming on the next day. This was never done prior to this week but they’ve now done it every day since Sunday night 🙈 People are absolutely ripping into them, making fake versions of them below it etc but it’s like they think if they just persist everyone will stop. Definitely multiple people on that show in fear of their career/reputation, especially after the bizarre ‘statement’ basically threatening Holly and Martin Frizell

It’s long been apparent that PS has a lot of sort on a lot of people. Apart from anything else, he knows others covered up for him and that could be incredibly damaging.

I fully expected the figures to increase. People will tune in to watch this car crash implode. If they’ve still lost viewers after all of the publicity they’ve drawn this week, then hopefully the writing is on the wall for both of them

I think maybe people have tuned in but like me, have then put it off when they’ve seen how fake the whole thing seems. I didn’t even want to watch them being fake to each other so I put it off and I’d usually have it on for the whole programme in the background of working from home (self employed, not skiving 😂)!

I saw a bit on Monday and it all seemed business as usual, with affectionate looks between them both. All this aside I haven't been able to enjoy the programme for a long time. It's way too middle class,hence why it's never on TV in the family homes I work in. The whole programme needs to go.
