I know IABU but for some reason I'm feeling really grumpy today with no patience left.

Senior colleague asked me to show a new colleague a particular process, this process falls outside of my main responsibilities to the point where 2 years into my job I've never actually done it myself and don't know how to do it. I told senior colleague I don't know how to do it, so would someone else possibly be able to show new colleague? They then typed out the process super quickly in an email for me. It's the kind of software where you need multiple windows open at once, I'm WFH today and all my colleagues (including new colleague and senior colleague) are in the office, it's a lot easier to show in-person.

New colleague asks when I'm free to show them new process, I say I'm in a meeting at the moment and then need to get the log in details for the software (and hope to be able to quickly log in and play around with the process to make sure I understand it before showing new colleague). New colleague puts in a meeting directly after my meeting. I message new colleague to say I don't have the log in details yet.

I then get the details and log onto the call, only to find out the details don't work. I message senior colleague several times, and try all the log in information they send and none of it works. I then tell new colleague I'll have to end this current meeting until we get the log in details.

I have so much other work to do, and I'm now having to wait around for a reply from another department on the login details.

I know IABU, but I just needed to vent
