Does anyone use mouth tape?

If so, what do you use it for?

I'm thinking of trying it for mostly snoring but also hate the dry mouth that comes with mouth breathing in the night.

Can anyone recommend a product?

I've looked on Amazon but a lot of the reviews seem fake, or seem to be reviewing a totally differing item like forks or chopsticks!

I just use micropore tape, it’s cheaper.

This type (although not this particular one) I just use a strip in the middle from under my nose to just below bottom lip. It does keep my mouth closed but in an emergency I can still open my lips either side if needed.
I almost put myself off mouth taping the first time as I taped horizontally and woke in a panic suffocating. Not happened since & I’ve been doing it several months. It has reduced my teeth grinding, my snoring, dry mouth etc and I do sleep better.

The woven or cloth style of surgical tape. It's sold under the 3M brand as Durapore. Works great for me.

Try xylimelts for the dry mouth

I use micropore type tape, just a really thin strip about half a cm wide over front of my mouth. I have fewer sore throats in the morning and sleep better I think when I use it.

...and I'd recommend James Nestor's book, Breath. Breathing seems to be the faddy health trend of the moment. He gives a lot of good scientific background, and he participated in some of the research.
