To ask how likely this is?

Hello
I am asking advice due to concern for a friend of DC
Don't want to say too much
Attends international boarding school. We used to be friends with the parents but they are never here.

Friend is claiming that school won't let her take her medication, prescribed in England for ADD, and also that she has been flagged for extra tuition for no reason.

How likely is this? Surely the school act in loco parentis and I wonder of the parents have asked for both of these things but won't admit it so they don't look like bad guys?

i do have cincerns for the girl as her parents don't take much of an interest but also realise it's not for me to interfere. She usually spends time with us during holidays, then with various relatives.

I imagine the rules around the medication will depend on the country of the school.

I think it is highly unlikely they are offering extra tuition for no reason, of course there will be a reason - likely that they believe it will help her.

Sorry, didn't mean to enable voting

the medication should be allowed - but I think something is wrong somewhere.
