Gastritis?

I have severe upper abdominal pain. OOH GP this morning said gastritis and gave me Omeprazole. I’ve taken this plus gaviscon. The pain is worse. I took two OTC cocodamol tablets an hour ago and they’ve not touched the pain. I’m rocking in agony. What else can I try? Thanks

I've found the only thing that ever seems to touch it for me is nexium (I've ibs and gastric reflux) I hope you feel better soon!
