Is anyone able to help me re: benefits? Sadly my husband and I are separating. We jointly own a home which is up for sale but I need to move into rented until it’s sold. Viewed something this morning which I’d like to proceed with. I’ve done a benefits calculator based on me living in the rented place and having equity in this house still and it all looks achievable but can I apply before I’ve officially moved out of my owned home? Do I need a letting agreement? Any advice welcome.
