Harry forced to watch his dads affair partner in the place his mum should have been

I feel so sorry for him. It would eat me up if I had to watch Camilla smiling and waving in the spotlight. She tormented his mother and wife. She (and his dad of course) spoiled his childhood.

This. I just can't believe how the media framed things and how people are still so angry decades later. It's actually quite exhausting to listen to.

I'm not even really a huge fan of Charles and Camilla. I just wish of people were going to hate them that it would be for more practical reasons rather than because of their personal choices that they made because of extremely unfair events that played out forcing them into terrible situations that forced them to pick between poisons.

  1. They were divorced
  2. She's dead
  3. Two ordinary people who found themselves in the same situation they did (loveless marriage, incompatible partners) would have divorced long before they did.
  4. They also wouldn't have felt pressured to produce children knowing things weren't right between them.

I'm not a royalist but Charles is very lucky to have been able to spend his life with a great partner. Initially it was thought they could never be allowed to marry.

I'm with you OP. Can't be bothered to read all the comments lacking in simple empathy and kindness. I did do an eye roll at the Guardian photo of the old bag on the throne, Charles himself had the depth to look anxious and serious, she looked like the cat who'd got the cream. Fingers crossed for karma. 😂

Only the very silly believe in karma and only hypocrites would blether on about empathy and kindness whilst referring to another woman as 'an old bag'...

Let's hope that I'm right and karma doesn't exist.
