I feel so sorry for him. It would eat me up if I had to watch Camilla smiling and waving in the spotlight. She tormented his mother and wife. She (and his dad of course) spoiled his childhood.

I think he looked really happy to be there when he arrived. He's grown up around all this pomp and ceremony and while he's decided to distance himself from it and his family there must've been a part of him that also felt completely at home. Certainly his relaxed demeanour as he walked in suggested that, which makes me wonder if there has been some truth to the reports that he's been feeling very homesick of late.

Harry wasn't "forced" to watch anything. He chose to attend. A bit like a family that has had a falling out but they still attend the wedding of someone they don't get on with because they don't want everyone else to talk about them.

His recent behaviour has made it clear he is confident enough to do whatever he chooses and will do whatever is beneficial to his own public image. He only went because not going would make him look petulant.
