How much time for party RSVP?

If party is say beginning of month let’s say February 2nd (not real dates!) and I ask for RSVP by 14th January so roughly 2 weeks before event is it unreasonable? Tbh I would like to do it earlier like 3 weeks before but worried I might come across as too organised or whatever any other word for it is. It’s for a kids party. I’m inviting whole class just to be inclusive and not leave people out but I’m hoping not all will turn up so I can invite his best friends from football and other clubs he does plus his cousin. It’s a new school so just inviting everyone. On a side note he hasn’t been invited to even one party yet and nearly end of school year!

So my question is how early can I possibly ask for RSVP? No one is surely gonna ignore my rsvp and just turn up are they? I don’t really know any of the parents yet as he started y4 in September and I work full time so use breakfast club and after school a lot. On my days off I have tried to engage in conversations with them but either they’re very shy or just can’t be asked to get to know the new mum, but also this will be a good way to meet them do you think?

Two weeks is not unreasonable to me. How long before you need RSVPs are you sending the invites though?

But sorry OP, if threads on here are anything to go by:
You will get very few RSVPs
People who don't RSVP will turn up
People will bring siblings without asking
Be prepared for a frustrating time!
