I usually listen to Sara Cox, presumably Steve Wright is on because its a bank holiday. Oh my god. How do people listen to him???

He talks through every song, thinking he's being amusing/clever/whatever.

I know, I know, we dont all like the same thing and I can just switch it off (I have) . I couldn't stand listening to him 30 yrs ago when my parents did.

God me too! Getting off my backside to switch him off!

He's a nightmare for it, constantly singing over the end of the songs. It is so irritating and arrogant. I couldn't understand why people were sad to see him leave the R2 afternoon show..... he's a pillock!

He is awful

We’ve just switched over to greatest hits & were listening to Ken Bruce today & I actually said I hope Steve Wright doesn’t come over & ruin this station.
He really does like the sound of his own voice & spoils every song he plays by warbling at the end or talking over it. He’s infuriating.

There are about 80 stations on my DAB radio. The internet has thousands more. Just listen to something else.

There's far too much talking on all radio stations. People just want to hear music. If they're a commercial radio adverts are a necessary evil. But otherwise the DJ needs to shut up and speak as little as possible.

Thank goodness Sara Cox is back!!
