phoenixrosehere · 01/05/2023 18:03

Not something I would do nor would I have cranberry sauce with roast chicken, BUT, I’m not eating it so go for it!!!

userxx · 01/05/2023 18:03

Go for it. I've used jam in the past on turkey sandwiches 🤷‍♂️

JuneShitfield · 01/05/2023 18:04

I have maple syrup with bacon, who am I to judge.

SirenSays · 01/05/2023 18:04

You're going too far now, Heston

HelpMeGetThrough · 01/05/2023 18:05

That sounds quite nice actually.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 01/05/2023 18:21

Yes!

SorePaw · 01/05/2023 18:23

Well I don't suppose it's much different to Turkey & Cranberry, so whatever floats your boat really.

though as a veggie I'd have Brie with either!!

Anywherebuthere · 01/05/2023 18:25

If you and who ever else is eating it likes it, then its fine.

bellac11 · 01/05/2023 18:29

You might be better off with cherry or raspberry if you have it

PotteringAlonggotkickedoutandhadtoreregister · 01/05/2023 18:30

now my internal voice went “ewwwww” but I’ve put cranberry sauce on toast when I’ve had no jam, so who am I to judge?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Marigoldilock · 01/05/2023 18:32

I do this all the time. I live in a country where cranberry sauce has to be imported so I just use jam. It’s pretty much the same thing.

BarryShitpea · 01/05/2023 18:32

I eat jam and pate sandwiches so I say go for it

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 01/05/2023 18:34

I put marmalade on fried bread so I'm in no position to judge

TomatoSandwiches · 01/05/2023 18:39

Cranberry is for Turkey, have bread sauce or some mustard, mustard is always appropriate.

SOMumm · 02/05/2023 16:38

Mackays seedless bramble preserve - its like stiff jelly and so versatile, on cold white meat, to swirled in semolina, strawberry is a dollop too far for me but yanbu
